The Dead Cat
Monday, July 13, 2009: I was walking on Bedford and North Fifth when I looked to the tree on the sidewalk. That is when I saw him--a fat grey/tiger-like cat with his red tongue half sticking out. Hello, I said. His eyes were open, but he didn't move. ThI touched the top of his head. Nothing. The stray cat is Resting in Peace, a victim of who knows what or whom.

Cats
Friday, November 2, 2007: There is a big empty and dirty lot on the 4400 block of Avenida Santa Fe. Cats have been living there for a long time. I feel that these cats need to be protected. It is a shame that in a trendy neighborhood like Palermo there are people who go and dump their cats. I go feed them when I can, but it is not enough. These cats need homes.
