Padre Cutie

I know only too well what the former Reverend Bob, now married, is talking about. And about Padre Cutie. The priest I fell in love with in Argentina was very good looking. I am sorry to say that we gave each other up. Ms. Paliekiera interviewed me in March about my novel Different Flags and the real life story behind it. Eugenia Renskoff

Unpopular But

hursday, June 25, 2009: I know is not politically correct. Here it goes: Though I do not approve of adultery, I admire South Carolina's Governor. He travelled to another country, risked his political career, marriage and family for a woman. Had it been just sex, he could have hired someone, like others before him. Were I his wife, I would be start divorce proceedings, but I am not. Yes, maybe he should have admitted it from the beginning, but what politician would? Eugenia Renskoff

Saturday, June 20, 2009: A year ago today, Lauchita and I left Norfolk to go to Jersey City. It was a Friday morning at around 8, and we were driven to Jersey City by a very nice man. That weekend in Jersey was the worst my cat and I have ever spent! The last time I saw Norfolk, the grass on the neighbors's lawns was green and beautiful.

Running on Fifth Avenue

Saturday, June 20, 2009: Yesterday afternoon I ran around 5th Avenue, looking for a man who wasn't there. I went to his place of business to discover that he had left. Then I emailed him from the NY Public Library. Then, I discovered where he really was supposed to be, and surprise! He wasn't there either. I felt like a fool and like I had been stood up over and over again.Yesterday afternoon was one of the more stressful times of the year and a half that I've spent back here in New York. Don't need that again.

Nadia's Death

Nadia died early in the morning of Thursday, June 10, 1999. It must have been at around 2 A.M. That’s when she must have noticed that the candle on her night table had caught on something, probably a piece of paper. She must have rushed to the kitchen and got some pots and pans to make noise. But nobody came to her aid until somebody on her floor (the 10th) noticed that there was smoke coming from under the door. The fire dept. found her with her hand clutching the house keys. Otranto and Niebla, her 2 older dogs died with her. The Rolex watch she was wearing (a souvenir of her prosperous days) was stolen by somebody. May She rest in Peace!

Nadia, Almost 10 Years

Tuesday, June 9, 2009: Today is the 10th anniversary of the last full day of Nadia’s life. She had come to my apt. as she did almost every morning and was standing on one of my chairs trying to fix the white drapes in the window looking out at Avenida Maipu. She was happy (or content) when she came to my place. Nadia, who had her own apt. messy and dirty, in part because of her Alzheimer’s, often did the dishes when we were done with tea in my living room. I still cannot believe that so much time has gone by since I lost her, Otranto and Niebla, her two older dogs.

Motivation

Saturday, June 6, 2009: I will allow nothing to stand in my way. I am seeking justice for the mortgage fraud/foreclosure mes the so called real estate GA professionals got me into in 2002. Even though I have had no encouragement from the people surrounding me, it doesn't really matter. I will go on no matter what.

Foreclosure Troubles

Tuesday, June 2, 2009: It is very sad to know that the foreclosure mess has no end in sight. In spite of President Obama's sincere efforts and practical help, people are still losing their homes. i know only too well how devastating that is. I know only too well how bad that makes a person feel. Fear, helplessness, shock, anger and disbelief are some of the feelings that a person experiences when the worst case scenario is about to happen.
