Dear Starbucks,

 

I would like to tell you about the excellent service I have been receiving at your Starbucks location on East 51^st. Street. Your employees are very friendly and caring. I am especially grateful to Eric, the manager, who was most kind to me and my little cat. I  was homeless due to unfortunate circumstances in my life and the Starbucks location on 51^st. Street became my oasis. Eric treated me like a human being and he as well as his staff showed me the best side of New Yorkers. In the afternoon, I would go to Starbucks, buy myself a little ham-filled muffin or a bagel and sit outside on the patio with my little cat inside her carrier. That was just about the only place I felt like a person.

 

Sometimes Eric offered milk for my cat and a cup of coffee for me. I really appreciate these gestures and have told him so. Now I am hopefully on my way to getting back on my feet. That is why I am taking the time to write and tell you about that particular Starbucks location. I will always be grateful to Eric and his employees and to Starbucks for hiring them.
