My Life in Argentina and Beyond

Friday, January 23, 2009: How humiliating it feels to have someone tell you they cannot take you in! The thought of been reduced to that is bad in itself, but to hear (or read) a person actually say it is even worse. It's worse because it brings all the ugly details of my situation into sharp focus. It's the same as saying there is no hope for me, no hope at all and I might as well give up, throw in the towel.

And the unmistakable fact that I have health problems (like my lower back pains) is icing on the rotten cake.
